You are trapped inside a seemingly harmless house after accepting to a request to retrieve an old pilot’s cap with a special badge attached to it from a young boy. However, this particular house owned by a grumpy old man; is strangely filled to the brim with balloons of various shapes, colors, and sizes. Paid and travelled to area to do this escape room only to be turned away in arrival as β€˜we won’t enjoy it’.  Presumably this was because we were two adults (although it is marked as a family friendly room but not a children only or anything if that nature).  There was no other explanation given. They offered that we could do any of their other rooms (all were free) but they all had a dark theme. Total waste of time

Reviews by escape room review sites

This is the first of a couple of reviews of rooms played from a somewhat different perspective from normal. On visiting my parents up in Grange-Over-Sands they were curious as to what this whole escape game thing that I spend so much time talking about was. As anyone who has ever tried to answer the question β€œwhat’s an escape game?” will attest, it’s fair easier to show than tell, and so we head off to The Escape Room Barrow to play Ascension, their only game without a horror theme.
