As you arrive at your friend’s great-grandfather’s house for her highly anticipated party, you notice something suspicious. You have been greeted by a soulless and secluded 19th century house.
The artefacts look all too familiar, and the mystery begins to unfold in front of your eyes – you are trapped in the abandoned writing room of Lewis Carroll.

Take a trip down the rabbit hole and use the riddles, clues and conundrums to find the secret scroll that will set you free or risk being lost in the abyss of Wonderland forever – OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

Erghh. We desperately wanted this to be good but the hosting is just utterly awful. When the game master doesn’t care about the experience it really shows. The puzzles were not logical and hints are not hints, they just tell you the solution which is really disappointing. Sage to say we won’t be back to Grand Escapes

It looks quite nice but it's odd, the hosting is rubbish and you'll have to make some astounding leaps in logic. They brag no one's ever done it with no clues.....no shit!
This room is honestly really pretty, the immersion to Wonderland is really well done here. However, the first puzzle in the room is an absolute nightmare. Even the GM hinted their dismay for it, no group has ever not needed help for it. Having the first puzzle be so infuriatingly hard made for a really difficult recovery, but we managed to stress sweat our way through the rest. Lots of physical puzzles, no padlocks, would definitely recommend with a bigger team.
This game utilises NO padlocks whatsoever so a lot more thinking outside the box is required.
This game has some really good puzzles and some great theming. My hat being said the game also has some serious flaws. Audio clues can be a big bug bear of mine, and when you can’t locate where the sound is coming from, it’s really quiet and the speaker is placed right by the game’s theme music, it’s infuriating. This is also one of them game’s that don’t make it obvious you’ve solved something, doors or cabinets release with no clue that it has.
With the flaws I mind, it was a great room and I’d recommend people give it ago
