The poor soul was shipwrecked several hundred years ago on the Godforsaken Phantom island and struggled to survive. You are now the first team of intrepid specialists to observe this weird and spooky island. But beware! The island is not as idyllic as it appears.

Beautiful decor with an engaging start, enjoyable puzzles. Some frustration with some broken tech nearing the end of the game which meant we couldn't complete one puzzle. Probably the easiest of the Skurrilum games (of the 4 available in English) - still fun though, and a cut above your average game.

Fresh out of Skurrilum's Malvini game, we plunged into the pirate-themed Phantom Island. A few eyebrows were raised when they handed out four head-mounted torches between five players, but fortunately it turned out to be decently lit throughout the game, with the torches provided just to better handle any dingy corners.

Home to the two best games I've played - the Ernie Hudson mysteries. They're the real deal: immersion, exploration, theatre, puzzles, decoration, audio, flow and narrative. In every way I can image, they deliver. And the other games aren't bad either. If you're ever in Hamburg go and play these games. And if you ever have the chance to go to Hamburg, seize it!
