As space cadets on the International Space Station you must race against time to ensure you fix the escape pod before it's too late. Houston received your distress call and has concluded that it was a meteor shower that struck the main ship a short time ago. The escape pod has also been damaged so you must first restore all of the systems before attempting an escape.
Cadets, you need to hurry! The next meteor shower is predicted to strike in an hour so there is no room for error!

quite easy

Played to fill a bit of time while in Edinburgh. It was a little bit basic in terms of decor and puzzles, but everything worked as it should, it made sense, and there were a few neat moments.

We played as a team of three and finished in half an hour (while not rushing) - I would recommend enthusiasts play in a team with no more than that or else you simply don't get your money's worth (with the exception of two particular puzzles that required co-operation, I would actually so it's pretty easy to solo).

A fun room with different types of puzzles with a few twists and β€˜ah ha’ moments along the way. A good solid room, well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Fun room, with one or two really quirky features. An interesting premise, which felt quite original, and an exciting start to the game which really got you in the mood. Some great hosting too!

Operation Odyssey is one of two games at Can You Escape, and got off to a good start when the operator gave the surprisingly detailed initial briefing in character. The level of costume was simple but the effort adds to the game. The briefing included considerably more instructions and overview of the mission structure than normal, and arguably that shouldn't be necessary - a good game should allow players to discover the structure as they play. But here it seemed to me that it fit the story and...

A review of Can You Escape? Edinburgh's Operation Odyssey room, a game that was amazingly well designed with clear progress, parallel, logical puzzles, a pretty set and a fun ending.
An immersive and extremely fun game with a good variety of puzzles, broken neatly into different tasks that can be worked on simultaneously.
You know that feeling when you're hurtling through space in a malfunctioning escape pod, you have to repair it before the meteor shower hits, and you can't stop humming David Bowie's Space Oddity? We're lost in space, in Edinburgh.
