Return of the Mad Scientist is a sequel to a game I played way back in the pre-history of 2016. At the time Escape Game Brighton had two games; it has since closed both, and replaced them with similarly named sequels. Although that suggests an ongoing narrative, there was little story to be found here: the website gives a brief blurb about preventing a doomsday plot, and retrospectively I can see that this was woven into the room design in places, but the briefing covered only the usual health a...
A weak set, a non-existent story, a shared GM, and the puzzles that, at best, were OK. There are plenty of good games in Brighton, but this isn't one of them.
