George, the landlord of The Lock Inn, was a chipper and podgy gentleman who loved a good puzzle. Since joining the Vermilion Society, his passion for puzzles grew, and he spent many hours modifying his pub so that the Deeds to it would not be stolen. Until… one day a mysterious figure called The Brewer poisoned George’s stash of beers and made his regulars sick. The Lock Inn was since condemned due to the high levels of Aconite found and George was never seen again.

funny

A little tired and the GM wasn’t overly endearing, so made this a meh experience. The puzzles in the most part worked well but some of the padlocks were tired plus somewhat linear.

The atmosphere certainly gave it a 90s pub experience. Some rude humour but could have been amped up a little more.

Another Great room by Other World. Funny submissive room, with adult humour and unique puzzles. Gamesmaster Ross was great! Like all the other host we've had, they added a fun, interactive personality to the room

A funny and original game with some solid puzzles and a cool set. Wish there was a soundtrack as you could hear a lot from the corridor outside which took me out of it a bit. In all a light hearted and enjoyable room

original

Solid room - we enjoyed how the puzzles were themed around the backstory and a couple of original touches. We were a bit slow off the mark with some searching but they kindly let us finish the game (normally 75 minutes).

A solid room that we enjoyed, especially different aspects of the theme implementation and ways in which the puzzle unfolded into new spaces.

Reviews of Pub and Vermillion. The former was an unusual theme with some good puzzles and cool reveals but some rough edges in a few of the puzzles. The latter while receiving good reviews from enthusiasts, didn't work well for us although, at least in part, that was related to tech failure and misfortune in our order of solving the puzzles.
