    We played remotely and it was my favorite remote experience to date.  I loved that they had a plot that was fully part of their puzzles and that there were a few novel interactions that I hadn't seen before.   You can tell that the creators really cared about story when crafting their game.  I'd recommend this especially to escape room owners looking for inspiration in game design with story - there's a fun element at the end that I enjoyed - and can only imagine how fun it would be in person!

    The downside, as mentioned by others was the QR codes that are used to help you see items up close.  It got a little hard to keep track of what we had seen.

    Really creative and funny escape room with a real sense of exploration (point and click) and some great audio and visuals. You can clearly see the love they poured into the game, the puzzles were different and fun, the text and story was often hilarious (maybe due to English translation, not sure :) and flowed well. We had a lot of fun today. I had to share my screen on a Zoom call so with too many people, might not be the best, we were only 3 people in 2 household. Highly recommended, and it's real cheap (2.95 EUR!). Really hope they come up with more web escape rooms!

    Once again a fiendishly hard set of puzzles await you, Nick is your Avatar and is a calming voice as you wrestly with his puzzles, unlike most other rooms, you only look at objects on a table and in a google drive folder but  they can and do make this work.

    Probably an okay room in real life, but it is almost amazing how many puzzles do not adapt well to avatar play.  The avatar moves the camera around frustratingly slow, the field of view of the camera is annoyingly narrow.  Sometimes it feels like the avatar player is following pre-planned scripts rather than actually obeying your commands, which is sort of okay given that the puzzle sequence is very linear.  There's a handful of text to read, but the video camera doesn't have the resolution to make it readable, so the avatar then has to read things out to you.  Plenty of secret triggers and openings that you can only watch, a bunch of signs where the avatar lingers on them just long enough that it feels like you're wasting time and just short enough that you don't actually have time to write it down.

    As it is new, the owner seems receptive to want to fix a lot of these issues, so I'll set this to "no rating" for a while.  

    P.S. The owner actually gave a us a full refund!  I guess this places our experience in the category of a "beta test" or like?  Shrug.
