We were so thrilled to get in before this charming prequel closed - it was such a fun, quirky, creative experience to guide our little mushroom friend through his adventures. The music was well-written and well-played, I wish I could get a Spotify link of the playlist! It's very clear that this was built and designed and operated with an incredible amount of love for the craft of puzzle-making and storytelling. I cannot wait to see what's around the corner for Headlock Escape Rooms - we'll be the first in line!
Nothing much to add that hasn't already been said about this game; It's fabulous, fun, surprising, joyful, silly, and quite unlike any other escape room. Joel is a great host (and puppeteer, and musician) and will gently guide you through the game, as well as show you a fascinating behind-the-scenes look afterwards. Definitely recommended.
An experience like no other! I think we enjoyed it even more than their Keeper game. On the easier side, but would be great for a family with some younger kids. Really good value for money when you think about how much work went into creating this. Recommended!!
Amazingly fun from start to finish - epic soundtrack, funny characters and references to pop culture throughout. Enjoyed how all of the puzzles directly linked to the story and usually had a couple of steps to them. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant. This, and their other game, are so original, so cleverly made, so much fun and with amazing soundtrack, tech, story and interactivity. The puzzles in this one are fun and just the right level of challenging, and this one even involves different types of activities which I won't spoil. You just have to go play this yourself because it is just SO good.
The original was great, but this was greater. Rise of the Fungi is 100% a must-play game. I use the word βgameβ but this is an experience if there ever was one, and it transcends puzzles and escape rooms.
The Rise of the Fungi absolutely lives up to the expectations set out all those years ago by The Keeper and the Fungus Among Us. We had an absolute blast, and would truly recommend this game to anyone. Itβs suitable for family members young and old, veteran escape room players with thousands beneath their belt and absolute newbies alike.
