C’est le week-end annuel du rassemblement familial dans la maison de grand-papi. Tout se passait bien, jusqu’à ce que vos neveux refusent d’aller se coucher à cause d’un soi-disant "monstre". Convaincus qu’il s’agit d’un mauvais rêve, vous prenez leur chambre pour le leur prouver. Mais cauchemar ou pas, vous vous retrouvez, à votre tour, piégés dans l’univers des monstres. Vous n’avez pas d’autre choix que d’affronter leur Big Boss. Pour avoir une chance lors de ce combat final, vous devez trouver et détruire les trois artefacts de vie du monstre. Mais ceux-ci sont protégés par des gardiens, dans des univers parallèles…

A super escape room centre in a somewhat strange location (you have to walk across a car park on-ramp halfway down the corridor...) that doesn't seem to be particularly vocal about the fact that all but one of their games can be played in English. We found this by chance and were so glad that we did!

The Monster Under the Bed is a 90 minute room so has plenty of content to keep enthusiasts occupied. The premise is, of course, that the children believe there is a monster under the bed and from there stems the game. We didn't expect the high level of decor or the huge game playing space that offers surprise after surprise. The puzzles are very good, with some unusual ones thrown in and a good deal of humour.

Our host spoke excellent English and this was supported by the English signposting in the room, which was all done extremely well.

A lot of wow moments, quality decor and some fantastic puzzles.
