The 1801 Escape Room is located in Tona, a small town about an hour’s drive north of Barcelona. The only Escape Game there, the ā€œJosep Fontcalda House Museumā€, made it to a remarkable 46th place at the Terpeca in 2022. Not only that! In 2021, the game was awarded 3rd place in the ā€œBest Puzzlesā€ category at the Spanish Escape Room Awards. Reason enough to put a visit to the museum on our to-do list for the next trip to Barcelona. We shouldn’t regret it!

There is not much about the story of this room on the website, apart from a very often repeated ā€œWater, earth, fire, airā€¦ā€, so we didn’t really know what to expect.
