Back when Whiskey Pete was just a small boy, there was gang of outlaws led by One Tooth Tex that terrorised the Enigma Canyon.
Texs gang were the roughest, meanest, lowdownest outlaws to come to these parts. But they regretted the day they choose to rob the Merkur Bank and make off with the towns gold, the local sherif called in the troops from the local fort. They tracked One Tooth and his gang for a month day and night and finally cornered them in a small cave.
The outlaws knew it was a matter of time before the troops stormed the cave and captured the gang or killed them in the attempt.
To scupper the Sherif, General and the troops plans, One Tooth got Smokey Jim the explosives expert to blow up the cave with dynamite.
The plan was to find another way out of the cave once the law give up on capturing them.
Unfortunately the gang of outlaws were never seen again….
Legend has it there’s a fortune buried in the mountain

A nice room, a good combination of locks and automatic stuff, a very interesting addition to the clue delivery system that id not seen before too.
We found it quite easy and flew through it relatively quick, the puzzles are logical theres nothing confusing, no red herrings or anything that takes a frustratingly long time.
A good well thought out fun room with lots to see and do. Will be back to do the other one.
Great theming and variety of puzzles throughout, but perhaps a little easier than expected. We successfully escaped as a group of four adults in 33 mins with no hints.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of times the GM had to enter the room which slightly disrupted our flow; (1) where a handle fell off and needed to be fixed mid-game and (2) where a door into another escape room opened automatically.
The GMs here were fantastic. They were super friendly and very informative from the start, making us feel welcome and exited for what was to come.
The room is themed as an old gold mine, so yes, it is dark in there, but that's the point. We were given a torch each to use if we wanted to and there are lots of lanterns throughout which we used instead to keep with the themeing.
Nothing in there felt out of place at any point and everything had a purpose (thats right, no red-herrings in here!). There was a lovely variety of puzzles and lock types that were fairly well signposted if you know what to look for, but at the same time not obvious, which makes it a perfect room for families or enthusiasts alike.
It felt like this room was tailored to the way that our team thinks, so the flow was fantastic! We didn't get stumped by anything and just had a really fun flow straight through to the end without needing any hints.
The only way for the host to give a clue is on a screen (with a themed noise), this was good as it didn’t disrupt your flow.
The host/ co owner was absolutely lovely before and afterwards.
Overall we found this room fantastic and really enjoyed the style of puzzles and theming. We felt it was well run and had a great time.
This game had great theming and a variety of puzzles that all fitted the story line as well as getting our brains cranking. It was fun to play and the staff at the venue were very chatty and welcoming. We then booked straight after to play their other game 'The Chapel.'
Played this for my 50th game and had a blast. A touch on the dark side, but other than that, cannot recommend enough. Look forward to seeing what this venue do next as they have plenty of room for some more games.
Loved this family friendly escape room in Watford. Successfully escaped with hubby and our 2 daughters aged 12 and 8. Attention to detail and flow of the story was superb. Nikki was an excellent host and spent time with us afterwards discussing their room. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and can't wait to see their next creation!
