The Admiral has given you direct orders to gather a crew to go in search of the Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen. Finding the right sailors might not be so easy as nobody has lived to tell about such an island or if it actually exists. If you find it, you shall seek and gather the knowledge to what is known as "eternal loneliness" from the Voodoo Queen; something the Admiral greatly seeks but for which you do not know the meaning of.

Of my 3 5* rated Escaparium Laval experiences, this is the lowest of the three, but it is still a solid five stars.
There's no reasons that this is not a 5* experience, it's just that Wardrobe and Cathedral are more jaw-dropping.

This is hands-down the best pirate game I have played.

Absolutely fabulous adventure, I loved every moment of it.  The team as Escaporium have created an entire world in which I had several moments where I forgot I was here to solve puzzles and I just wanted to go and play at "pirates".
Puzzle theming is superb, and they progress the narrative well which immerses you more into the story and the mission.  If you can only play a few games at Escaparium then make sure this is one of them.

This is by far and away our favourite escape room we’ve ever done. Discussing it without spoilers is hard but safe to say that this is the most immersive, story driven and remarkable escape room we’ve completed. The set is something that looks like it should belong in a movie and is sprawling, detailed and intricate. Fabulous in character GMing from Adrianne. Definitely worth the trip to Montreal!

Every now and again I come across a room where I just want the timer to stop so I can discover and enjoy the space, play with all the props, try on all the hats, and relive my childhood adventures. The Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen was one of those rooms for me and if I could have, I’d have happily played pirates in there for hours. From the briefing where the story was told by a whole cast of characters, to the sheer joy of getting to step aboard a pirate ship I was grinning and bouncing around like a 10-year-old child on a sugar rush. More than once I left the guys to complete a puzzle as I off investigating the dΓ©cor or a particularly intriguing prop.
