The Turner family have always joked about Uncle Artemis and his eccentric ways.

A World traveller with a keen interest in relics from around the globe and a head full of steam, the family never understood him like you did.

News of his death has hit you hard, and while the rest of the family go about managing the estate, your only thoughts are with the single item he bequeathed to you, the key to his study.

That place was his sanctum, and where you most loved spending time with him. As a child it was full of wonder, as an adult the key you hold in your hand is the key to Uncle Artemis’ most intriguing secrets.

With a heavy heart but a buzz in your soul, you unlock the door and step inside…

This worked very well. A very (very) minor quibble about the responsivity of the clock, but aside from that this is a well thought out and sensibly themed set of puzzles that is family friendly with a coherent theme.

Played extremely well with three people and all of the items identified made sense. We all came away with the sense that we'd all solved some of the puzzles and we put our heads together and solved some of them at the right level.

As members of the team find items they go into a communal inventory and can be used immediately so it's worth keeping an eye on the inventory to find out what's been added and cut scenes jumped in to show you what had been opened/what happened which is more helpful than some of the live escape rooms we've played.

Really a cool room, one of the few that blended the “real room” feel with digital puzzles well. It was also one of the few that I wished I had a partner for because there is just so much to do and it is a fairly nonlinear game so tons of things that can be done at the same time. Great if you have a medium to large size group who want to play together.

Good fun game.  It was in a physical 360 space but with the addition of some fancy graphic stuff.  We enjoyed the idea of the "panel" where we could keep visual track of what we had yet to solve.

What a beautiful room! Well executed online game where the platform (telescape) was used in the best way possible.  No text boxes for "passwords" but one place to configure when you got to the right solution. All about one giant meta-puzzle.

The storyline was your inheritance from your well-travelled puzzling uncle - find your way through the things from his travels. Loved the cabinet. A few of the puzzles were really hard for us - key and a silhouette so we might have brute forced those but other than that we were happy. Especially liked a puzzle about a family tree. That was subtle and fair.

Almost at the end, the game broke for us. We had the right solution (as confirmed by the company when they had to interfere) and it just didn't work. We played this game quite near the release date, so maybe there was some last minute changes that wasn't configured correctly. After wasting 30 minutes trying different things to correct this, we reached out and the company had someone fix it and we could finally finish the game. We were refunded 50% of the game and we were happy about that since we had played 95% of the game without problems. We don't think any others will have this problem as it seems the company behind this is really on top of things. We were really happy with how they adressed this (never questioning that something was wrong).

All in all we would recommend this game to others without hesitation.

We are big fans of the Enigma franchise and have played a lot of their games across a range of locations in the North of the UK. The Enigma Rooms seem to be run by people who are super enthusiastic about their rooms, often creating hand-built escape rooms which feel unique, fun and definitely challenging.
