It's the year of our lord 1672, and you be right in the height o' the golden age o' piracy…
After years of sailin' the high seas, you and your crew have succeeded in your fair share of ambushes, and as a result – your ship is teamin' with bounty.
Yet you're still suffering beneath the cruel wrath o' Captain Starling - a notoriously bloodthirsty buccaneer, and your shipmates have decided you all shall take matters into your own hands. After all… you fought for the gold, so the gold is yours for the taking, aye?
Once the old seadog has retreated to his berth for the night, you make your move. Get in, get the treasure and get out. You won't have long before he starts to stir – and Starling shows no mercy to ANY soul…

Beautifully built set as you come to expect from tulleys! Good mix of puzzles and probably the easiest room at tulleys but by no means easy, still a lot to get through in the hour! Great fun!

Great fun and the set dressing is exceptional. Would highly recommend. The best pirate themed room we’ve done and a nice varied selection of puzzles - dexterity and smarts needed!

Very nice set. Pretty expansive.

Puzzles were all great, nothing too hard, but not too easy either - lots of them too!

We did this room as a team of two and I’d say it was the perfect difficulty for us as we finished the room in roughly 54 minutes.

Excellent hosting too!

Would definitely recommend this room and will 100% be going back to try their others.

Fantastic room! Absolutely packed with puzzles and the adrenaline was p-um-ping! It was well balanced with individual and group tasks and had a variety of puzzle types so it catered to everyone - probably a medium to hard difficulty. Set design was really impressive and it felt very immersive. Definitely one of our favourite ever rooms! Adam was an absolutely brilliant host too and we enjoyed it so much we're already planning our next trip to Tulley's 🙂

Big rooms, gorgeous theming, fairly easy for an experienced group, we took a leaderboard spot whilst trying to take our time and enjoy the scenery. Lovely flow through the whole room. Very hands-on with lots for everyone to do. Great fun, family-friendly and well worth a visit!

Mutiny is Tulleys' pirate game, and it's a swashbuckling joy to play. A pirate theme demands good decorations, and this one delivers in spades. It has the same large footfall as its sibling game and is a clear step up in its visual impact. (Players should be warned that this is not a game to play wearing their smartest clothes.)

Before the game begins there's a slightly different version of the intro video we had for their other game, which was entertaining enough that we didn't mind listening ...

Tulleys deliver again with a beautiful set and solid puzzles. The one area where I felt that The Outfitters was lacking was on the physical puzzles front so it was great that this game was strong on that front with a couple of real standout elements.
According to Tulleys’ website, this is the easiest of their rooms. I would tend to agree, and think it would be an excellent choice for both enthusiasts and newcomers, alike

As you might expect for a ship, this game required more physicality than others, but these were more to reveal/solve puzzles than being the puzzle itself. There was one particularly unique feature of this room, which was fun to build and use, but otherwise, this was your average pirate room, just more polished and better executed. Ultimately we escaped with 22 mins left, and we had fun doing so, but we were looking forwards to the final room.

Whilst the Captain's asleep, can we reclaim our share of the treasure?

Now this room definitely had the wow factor in terms of theming and decoration! So much attention to detail and probably for me, the most immersive of all the Tulleys rooms.

The variety of puzzles was excellent and there was something that suited every member of our group! Some challenging physical puzzles as well as plenty of skillful ones. Definitely not the run-of-the-mill puzzles you might see in a standard escape room.

This room had some really great big puzzles which required more than just one brain and definitely more than one pair of hands! We had great fun rummaging around in the belly of this pirate ship, the puzzles were absolutely fantastic with lots of elements that we hadn’t come across before and, while not the most challenging of the Tulley’s Escape Adventures, it was an absolutely brilliant experience!

An epic swashbuckling adventure of a game that’s elaborately themed and occupies an impressive amount of floor space.

A well themed, good looking room, 4 different sections that keep well with the theme. One puzzle that was not clear exactly what it did, but was important to getting through, some way of better knowing what you have done would be better. Ultimately though, this is quickly forgotten due to the presence of a cannon!

The set is beautiful, and absolutely massive. No spoilers, but the extent of it, over an hour did astound (and slightly panic!) us. One of those “OMG, there’s another room” games, with the added joy of a complete environment transformation halfway through
Potentially our favourite game to date. The level of details, the gameplay and the puzzle content is the perfect marriage and creates a fully immersive, enjoyable environment. This is what as escape room should be about. Fun and engaging and a feeling of value for money even if you escape well under the time. It’ll provide a challenge for beginners but a really fun ride for enthusiasts. Today, we’ve been spoiled!
