Pretty decent room. with good decoration.
Fun but only ok ER in central London - looking a bit dated compared to some newer games and puzzle ideas. Needs the GM to come in to the room for one puzzle if play as a 2 which does distract somewhat.

Having played quite a lot of games recently that aspire to be immersive and story-driven, Pharaoh's Chamber was a contrast and a throw-back to an earlier style of escape room, where the puzzles are front and centre and the theme is really just window-dressing.

I just wish I’d played it when it first came out, because I would have been absolutely blown away by it! I can tell it’s got charm, and I don’t fault the room or the team in the slightest, I’d just love to see the creators use the space and create something even more exciting with all the learnings the UK escape room industry has had in the past 8 years. It’s a well-loved site, and I’ve no doubt it can be a top enthusiast spot with a little more TLC.
Unfortunately, Pharoah’s Chamber wasn’t much more than some reasonably interesting puzzle loosely tied together with a vague theme. For a central London location, this made it all the more disappointing.
