Brilliantly original take on the Zoom-based escape room format. Don't Google it in advance, just go in with a smile on your face and expect to have that smile for the entire time :>

The room is (wonderfully) Game of Thrones-themed, jam-packed full of suitable props, clues and puzzles. Thankfully, as is now the trend it seems, there is an online inventory system which allows everyone to access the different clues however they want and works very well along side a 360 camera shot of the room with a zoom-in function to examine the room features in more detail. As such the best way to experience this room is via split screen or dual screen set-up with the Zoom view in one and the inventory/360 view in the other. The room is physically located in Dubrovnik but that makes zero difference to the experience given that it is Zoom based. Our host, Bogdan, was helpful, incredibly friendly and accomodating with his schedule and plays his avatar character well in-game. The puzzle flow design is linear for this room. If we were there in person that would not have been ideal but it is very well suited to Zoom-based rooms as we only have one set of hands and eyes via our avatar. The actual puzzle design was top quality, nothing enormously taxing but there are lots of puzzles that are satisfying to solve and many of them were genuinely original, hand-crafted and very well made.Due to some late drop-outs we ended up with a team of 4 and a team of 3 but these possibly represent ideal team sizes - my guess is a team of 2 is also perfectly feasible as might be 5 but I would not go above that. Both teams finished in around 44 mins which is apparently better than average so I'm sure some will go to the wire getting it finished. The cost is €50-€60 per room or session (i.e. €10-€15 per person for my lot), above other UK/EU rooms we've tried but when I asked them every one of my club's participants believed it was worth it given the quality of room and entertainment provided. Definitely recommended.
