A decent room to play with inexperienced friends.
This was a bit of a last minute booking so I wasn't expecting too much, but the room did impress in parts. It's the first I've played that limits the senses effectively and I really enjoyed the dynamic that brought to the game, it did make it genuinely creepy.
The issue is, the room could be higher if it capitalised on that creepiness. It could have done with more effective jump scares or at least different ones to the same smoke machine and sound effects. The story was also crucial to the puzzles but it didn't feel like any of it was directly explained during the game. Finally, the hosting wasnt great, although I'll give that some leeway as we were clearly the last of the day. That being said, it's never going to be a great experience when the hosts have to be informed as to where we are in the room when we ask for clues; it's their job to know this and it does take you out of the room when you have to do their job for them.
