Legend has it that in the dark depths of the Ancient Pyramids lies a treasure which possesses unworldly secrets. A renowned Archaeology Professor had been assigned the dangerous task of retrieving the lost Egyptian treasure before anyone else. However, the Professor has gone missing and someone must continue their work. You and your team of Archaeologists have been selected to complete the mission. Do you have what it takes to steal the treasure from the Ancient Legends? Or will you face entrapment within the Pyramids for the rest of your lives?

Overall, I'm not a fan of the clue system at Escape Reality but we didn't need any clues in this room so it didn't affect our experience. We enjoyed this room mostly for the theme. There were some puzzles that stood out as well as quite a lot of straightforward ones. Overall, this was a fun room and would be great for a first time escape room.
Egyptian Escape
Escape Reality is my favourite company in Manchester, not only because of the 50% student discount Mon-Thurs, but all of their rooms are well-developed.
Story
Steal precious treasure from the Ancient Pyramids, but get out of there before you're trapped forever.
Puzzles
Good fun, with the right links to Ancient Egyptian culture. One or two of them were clunky, though, and so we suffered a technical fault or two. I have to say, I'm not a big fan of scanning stickers using a tablet to get hints. In darker spots, they're impossible to pick up. Although it can be good to remain in control of your own hint-distribution and they don't usually give the answers away, a Game Operator would probably have a better idea on how much/little of a push in the right direction a team requires.
Mise-en-scène
Great. When entering, I felt like I was stepping into another world. It's an enchanting room with all the sand, mummies and sarcophagi youβd hope for in an Ancient Egyptian themed escape.
Final Comments
Take three or four people; as a team of two, we only just got out π

Some nice themeing and some standard puzzles but a couple of reset errors marred our enjoyment of the game.
