We really enjoyed this room. It was quite padlock-heavy, but it didn't feel overbearing, and the puzzles to get the padlock codes were incredibly varied. Some very nice logic puzzles in this room, as well as a cool colour-based feature (be wary if you're colour blind, my husband found it a little trickier but not impossible).
Itβs clear to see the step up in design and puzzle quality as the team have built up their experience over the years. The set looks incredible and has many ooh moments throughout. The puzzles are incredibly varied and gave some satisfying ahhh moments throughout. Easily my favourite of the two branches that Paradox Parlours have!

A nice room, apparently very new. Good story, good theming and set. My only criticism is there are an awful lot of padlocks, probably more than any other room I have done, and after stooping down to enter a code into a tiny little lock for the 10th time, it does wear a little thin. It would have been nice if there was a bit more automated electronic unlocking of things, and a few less padlocks.
That said, the puzzles were great and the clue delivery system was really cool and very in keeping with the theme. Some nice surprised and magical moments.
Easily in my top 5 rooms.None of the puzzles were particularly hard, but there were loads of them - great fun as a team of two as we both got to do lots! The room is put together really well. This is by far Paradox Parlours' best room. Our host was absolutely fantastic! I wish I hadn't forgotten his name, because that guy deserves a bonus! When he saw that we'd selected "enthusiasts" as our reason for doing the room, he had checked with the host that ran our last to see how we did. Seeing that we had done pretty well, he made sure to set the puzzles to be harder than they are as standard - how's that for going the extra mile in the name of extra service?!All in all, excellent experience. Would strongly recommend.

We played this game before the public opening, so there are small elements that might have been refined since we played but...wow!! Our whole team loved this game. It was jam packed full of puzzles and kept us really busy. Some unusual puzzles and great theming.

Fantastic game, joy and puzzles round every corner (and there were a lot of corners!). So many things to solve and not completely linear. We are an experienced team and we completed it as a 4 with no clues. Itβs really well structured that you could break into pairs or work as group or go off solo. Puzzles were tricky but all could be solved with a bit of logic - so it was very satisfying. Itβs nice to do a game that doesnβt have tenuous links between things. There were quite a few padlocks which we enjoyed and they helped you work through knowing what needed to be done. It really did combine the best elements of so many escape room puzzles. Not too techy and no countdown clock. An absolute gem for Woking!
