Travel back to Bavaria in the year 1901 to visit the humble toy shop, Otto’s, where a world-changing incident has occurred. A young toy inventor has created what will become a huge phenomenon, but he’s been knocked back before he can begin – the grumpy shop owner won’t stock it!
It’s up to you to sneak into the toy shop at night and place the toy into the shop window. The sales will start flooding in and prove the toy a success, so we can all enjoy it for decades to come! …if you succeed.
This game will have two seasons. You can choose to travel back to the night of October 31st for an eerie adventure (Book Otto’s at Halloween, dates to be announced soon), or the night of December 10th for a visit full of Christmas cheer (Book Otto’s at Christmas, running between 15th November – 14th January). The challenges within your mission will be the same whichever night you choose to visit Bavaria.

Some really clever and unique moments in this game and I really enjoyed the bonus quest of collecting marbles as we went. Good mixture of puzzle types and great hosts to go with it! Real sad to see these guys closing down

We have completed nearly all games at TimeTrap to date and they have all been amazing. From hosting, to theming, and the puzzles themselves, the attention to detail is second to none. This game was still fun and there was some interesting parts to the game to make it a bit more immersive (involving leaving the room and doing additional tasks). There were also some unique puzzles that I've not seen before, however, I feel like there wasn't as many puzzles as usual for TimeTrap games. I would definitely recommend this christmas themed game for families as there's an appeal to children with the toy shop setting, but not sure if the same would apply so much when it's the spooky edition. We had a relatively quick completion time and the hosts were welcome and friendly as ever, however the game itself didn't leave me buzzing.
Played with our 6 and 9 year olds, great story, enough they could get involved in. Nice use of the space and some really original puzzles, that we haven't seen in 75+ rooms.
