Brilliant scary room with lots of jump scares! The room, music, atmosphere all fit into the theme really well. The actor is terrifying and manages to move between all the different rooms scaring everybody. Puzzles really good and we really liked the ending!

If you're a fan of jump scare rooms then this is the one to do. A team of 4 male adults were running round, screaming and swearing at the jump scares in this room. A good selection of puzzles to figure out. The owner is enthusiastic and has done a brilliant job at this venue. We will definitely be back for some more scares

Immersive rooms are quite new to me and what a find this is!

Tension was built right from the first minute and didn't let go all the way through.

Scares come thick and fast and are really intense. Certainly not for the faint hearted.

I can't wait to see what else the host has to offer.

Outstanding experience with great hosts, certainly not to be missed!

Project Mayhem delivered an experience unlike any other Escape Room which I personally had ever experienced before. The immersion landed on every level to the music, atmosphere, actors and how they rotate through the rooms, catching us offguard.

Phenomenal effort made by them, and a great experience. The owner was even open to new ideas, feedback and general discussions about the puzzles/scary parts etc, always looking to improve.

Please, do yourself a favor and book this room now. It is awesome!

our second visit to project mayhem and this time we chose to do the ultimate scare room Fear.

the host was wonderful even gave us a free bottle of water due to the heat.

the room itself was cleverly put together with a real twist at the beginning.

there was a lot of scares and you really need to keep your wits about you.

if you enjoy scare escape rooms then you Really need to try this one, we've done quite a few and I would have to say this has been our favourite room yet.

Absolutely loved this room.  I particularly like a good scary room and this is an incredibly well themed room that sets itself apart from standard "hide from the serial killer" by having more and appropriate live actor interaction added. It's a large room that certainly tested our search skills and would definitely suit larger groups as well as twosomes.

The audio in the room has obviously been given careful thought and builds the suspense beautifully through to the climax.

The final puzzle was a unique one that we have never come across before (and probably won't again!) but it was bang on theme and has a twist that is absolutely devious but so, so clever. We were given regular updates on time remaining through our 'friend' on a walkie talkie who also helped us out when we got stuck with subtle hints. This 'friend' stayed in character throughout and helped drive the immersion in the story.

I can honestly say my heart was pounding in this room! The tension is built up gradually and the scares don't interfere with the game play at all, more enhancing it if anything. I've given this room the highest rating as it deserves it. If you like scary rooms, this will be right up your street, go and play it! We've been talking about it since we came out three days ago!!

With a last minute visit to Lincoln on the cards it was a quick browse of Escape the Review to find a room and we immediately found Project Mayhem. We love a good scare and we love a good escape room and this was ticking all the boxes from us. We arrived and were greeted by our awesome host Dean. He explained the story of the room we were about to play, the usual health and safety and explained that there would also be a live actor. If we heard an alarm we had to hide. I've played a couple of rooms with a live actor in so I thought I knew what we were in for. I was wrong. He asked us to pick one person from our group to be taken. I nominated myself and I was taken away.
