Stressful(small team), spooky, immersive.
Play while you can! This one is going away and we had a great time. The GM was awesome. He spooked us so many times!
Clever puzzles and great tech. You don't know what lies through that next door!

Superb experience, decent escape room. We did the 90-minute experience. Iโm still waiting for a horror room to properly give me a scare but this one was probably the joint-closest to do with Seance in Wakefield. Loved the concept - an escape room in a whole house - you have one main puzzle per room. Theyโre not tricky puzzles although we made them trickier by overthinking. The puzzles arenโt the star here though, itโs the set and some pretty cool special effects throughout that I wonโt spoil here. There is a physical element at the end of the experience but there is a way to bypass although it does break the immersion somewhat. From how the host described it, you can usually have more than one team in the house at once . Iโm not sure how much Iโd have liked that but I guess folk screaming elsewhere might have made it a bit more chilling.

The Haunted House was an interesting experience and I think it would be fascinating to see how it is run with the maximum 48 players. One thing that was clear from our experience was that ScreamWorks are constantly experimenting and developing their offering, so there is a good chance that your experience could be slightly different to ours.
Horror House is such a great escape room and definitely up there as one of the most immersive escape experiences Iโve done. Itโs got the right level of creepiness whilst being engaging and fun and it is ideal for those who want to try something a bit more scary without having a live actor in the room with you.
