The 1801 Escape Room is located in Tona, a small town about an hour’s drive north of Barcelona. The only Escape Game there, the “Josep Fontcalda House Museum”, made it to a remarkable 46th place at the Terpeca in 2022. Not only that! In 2021, the game was awarded 3rd place in the “Best Puzzles” category at the Spanish Escape Room Awards. Reason enough to put a visit to the museum on our to-do list for the next trip to Barcelona. We shouldn’t regret it!
There is not much about the story of this room on the website, apart from a very often repeated “Water, earth, fire, air…”, so we didn’t really know what to expect.
