clever

Fabulously imaginative to get so many puzzles into a deck of cards. Really enjoyed all the bite size puzzles and dopamine hits. The supporting website was great, too... Very usable and 'just worked'. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Absolutely loved this game. How he managed to get so many different types of puzzles into one deck of cards is in itself a work of genius. We loved the puzzles, the humour, the interface on the web and all the cleverness. One of the best play at homes yet. We only needed to use about 4 hints in the end and they were enough to point us in the right direction with a nudge that helped. At no point did we think anything didn't make sense. Loved it.

Excellent highy-portable game that manages to jam in a surprising variety of puzzles into a deck of cards. Note that internet connectivity is required, which is the only thing that might prevent this being otherwise a perfect pocket travel puzzle companion

I often wonder how you officially become a genius. Is it when you’re accepted into Mensa? Or perhaps when you win an international Scrabble Tournament? No! It turns out the status of genius can be achieved only by solving puzzle 53 in Spencer Beebe’s latest game, Lost in the Shuffle.


Lost in the Shuffle at first appeared to be a fairly simple pack of cards, but it turned out to be one of the most fun puzzling experiences I’ve had in recent memory. Its light-hearted tone, mix (and abundance) of puzzles and brain-matter-building web interface provided a unique experience that left me wanting more.
