London, 1893.

A famous private detective, your friend and Police Academy colleague, John Monroe, was murdered in his office. He was last seen with you and in his will he left you his praxis and his clientele. That is why you were arrested for his murder. 

During the trial it was concluded that a reconstruction of the crime has to be done in John's office. When the Police brought You from jail something unexpected had happened - the lead detective on your case will be 60 minutes late, which means this is the time you have to find out who is the real murder and save yourselves from going to jail.
