Beautiful animation and a smooth interface. My only gripe was with the hint system. If you're going to add a time penalty it would be nice if the hints were more useful! I needed a hint on one puzzle, and had to go through 3 hints to get to a piece of information I didn't already know. Otherwise a very pleasant entertainment.
Beautiful room! Very immersive. A little short if I'm honest, but good fun all the same
The games graphics are really wonderful with all environments and puzzles displaying in stunning detail.
We enjoyed the mix of simpler tasks and more challenging puzzles.
One puzzle had us a little stumped for a while and the hints system does add a time penalty for every hint taken, which is the only downside!
I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Fantastic graphics and ambient sounds really immerse you in the atmosphere. A nice variety of puzzles, some of which were tricky but due to my own fault making mistakes or missing things.
Downsides: (1) There is a time penalty for hints, including those first "I already knew that" ones. (2) When playing remotely with others you have to use share screen, and I would much prefer for us to all be able to look around and work independently.
I look forward to seeing another game from this company.
Really enjoyed this game, very hi-tech and some very interesting interactive elements. The game helped you feel involved in the story and, although not scary, there were some almost jumpy moments. The puzzles were varied, although not the toughest we've come across, but they still kept us thinking.
The only negative i would say is that it felt more like a video game than an escape room experience, a kin to the likes of the The Room game, etc. This isn't a terrible thing of course but clarity is always best when looking for a virtual escape room.

From the beautiful 3D sets, to the point-and-click style of adventure with stylish cutscenes between it, to the music, the high fidelity, and general high budget feel of Hallows Hill, I was super impressed. In fact, itβs a wonder that Wolf Escape Games has completely flown under the radar as much as it has. Weβd heard of it, because we make it our mission to hear about and play as many escape rooms as we possibly can. But by and large since the game launched in 2021 it hasnβt got the attention I think it deserved. So, lets go onto why!
