This concept had such potential but there were just too many red herrings thrown in. Very frustrating.

This place had been recommended to me by the team at Escape Peterborough but then Lockdown #3 (or was it #2?) happened and I'd not had chance but jumped at the chance for a remote play.  There's a nice puzzle flow to the game as it is nicely linear with a couple of great puzzles.  Video was Zoom with a managed inventory via Telescape that worked well.  Our Avatar was friendly and engaging and prodded us the couple of times we got stuck, had a great time!

Charming room with some inventive puzzles and a lovely avatar. They use telescape, but dont overuse it for puzzles so it doesn't detract your focus from the avatar and room. Plus have one of the most reactive telescape managers I've ever experienced too!
A great linear room which is perfect for families and for team buiding. We really enjoyed it .

I would imagine this room would be a lot of fun to play in person. There were some ambience and sound that had to be cut out from the online version which could've made the ending feel more intense. Perhaps adding some sound element in Telescape could help achieve this. At the end we escaped with our P.I.s in 47 minutes and 10 seconds! Overall we had a nice and smooth ride onboard the Hourglass express!

Escapes on a train, part four. I do have a weakness for a train-set game; the runaway locomotive and a confined space are a good fit for Escape Room drama.
