Het is 1924 en de inspecteurs bij Scotland Yard staan voor een raadsel. Op 26 januari dat jaar hebben ze Thomas D. Margate opgepakt en vastgezet op verdenking van massale diefstal. Dit op basis van een aantal getuigen die Thomas denken gezien te hebben op het plaats delict…
Er is alleen één groot probleem, Scotland Yard is er van overtuigd dat ze de juiste verdachte hebben gevonden, maar van de buit is geen spoor te vinden. Thomas D. Margate is al 17 jaar actief als Hoofdconducteur op een van de langste spoorlijnen van Groot-Brittannië en woonde ook op het Station van Hull. Er bestaat dan ook het ernstige vermoeden dat hij zijn buit daar ergens heeft verborgen.
Hier start dan ook jullie verhaal. Op uitnodiging van Richard McKindley, Hoofdinspecteur van het onderzoeksteam, zullen jullie op eigen houtje op zoek moeten gaan naar de geheimen van Thomas.

A review of two games hidden out in the forest near Best, the Netherlands. One game was distinctly mediocre apart from the decoration but the Conductor is a beautiful game that recreates the feel of a British station in a way that would be impressive in the UK let alone overseas and still manages to pack in good puzzles.
A good mix, I found, of more complex mechanical and technical puzzles. I think the story with the railway robber Thomas D. Margate is very creative and the implementation was great. Nice ending! Very friendly operators. The team size should, due to the spatial conditions, not exceed 4 people.
