Pretty intense, not as scary as expected. Definitely play if you get the chance, the actors do such a great job and really deserve the commendation.  I did find they used very loud music/sounds a bit too much- if you’re sensitive to that maybe wear earplugs as i did have a bit of sensory overload. There’s no emergency exits in this game (which they state at the start of the game almost as a good thing, this did bother me!).

Wow! It’s fair to say I was very scared to do this room, and I now know I had every reason to be! The acting is next level and puts consistent pressure on you throughout the game. They give you adequate time to solve puzzles in between scares, however, I always felt on edge. I found myself hesitating to finish a puzzle just so I could mentally prepare for the next scare. The mechanisms involved for the actor are excellent and now I have seen things i had never witnessed prior to this game. The puzzles are easy enough and the set-design is perfect for the theme. The mechanisms used for transitions between rooms were excellent and we could never have guessed where we would be going next.

For those that are apprehensive about horror rooms, I should say that you DO get chased around and this was particularly scary as a 2. Lots of bruises on my shins and thighs from shuffling around the room during chases! Great memories made.

Interesting way to start a room (won't say anymore - no spoilers!)

The initial scares were incredible but it became less and less scary as the game went on, because it the flow became predictable. Our team experienced too many and too quick hints, compared to what we needed.

The ending was super disappointing, and the last puzzle was weird and broken and didn't meet the level of the rest of the game AT ALL. It's rated 10th on Terpeca 2022, which is a bit too high on the list in my opinion - but it's definitely worth playing! I've heard that they're changing the ending, so hopefully it's better for future players!!

Both terrifying and jaw-dropping in equal measure. Unmissable.

Athens is famous for horror games, and as a horror experience, El Exorcista is my favourite (of those I’ve played so far). If that’s sufficient to make you book it in, then I suggest you don’t read on until after playing it, because not knowing what’s coming can only improve the experience. Although I’ll repeat one useful piece of advice I was given for it: even if terrified, don’t close your eyes, because it would be a terrible shame to miss particular moments.
All three games we played at No ...
The American horror film „The Exorcist“ is one of the greatest film successes of the early 1970s and one of the absolute cult films of its genre. It is about the 12-year-old girl Regan, who is possessed by demons. After all medical examinations have failed, Regan’s mother turns in her desperation to the Catholic Church, which sends two exorcists who try to save the defaced girl by exorcising her devils.
I have never experienced anything quite like El Exorcista, and I think that goes for the rest of the team as well. We were, quite literally, dropped into the middle of The Exorcist and I have never felt more immersed in a game
That was intense. El Exorcista was unlike anything else that we’ve ever played. Imagine if the movie The Exorcist was completely reimagined as a hybrid escape room/ immersive theatre/ haunted house.

The acting in combination with the effects used is truly cinematic. You are immersively drawn into the story and experience the best scenes of the movie firsthand. The experience has landed on the 10th place of the world ranking, especially because of the shocking moments.
