This room had a huge amount of potential but ultimately we were left quite disappointed.
The puzzles were very long, and "samey", by that, I mean once you know what you need to do, you have to do the same thing again and again in order to solve it. Because it was set in a museum, there felt like a lot of red herrings, which completely threw us off. Items in desks which looked like personal belongings, which we didn't know whether they were part of the game or not.. lots of museum props you're unsure whether you need to use to solve... As the scape game mentions, there is an element where you're outside, which we initially thought would be a really interesting element, but I was hugely disappointed that it was pretty much just to take you to another room. There are a LOT of steps to navigate too!
What was really frustrating was the communication system with the GM. It was through a walkie-talkie system, which does not go well, especially when you cannot hear what they are saying. We could even sense that the GM was getting quite annoyed having to repeat what they were saying.
One plus point though was the views you get from the top of the tower over Canterbury.
We had a high expectation coming into it because of the setting, but really didn't enjoy this compared to their other escape rooms.
