Some really fun moments in this game and overall a great range of puzzles that suited each member of our team well. Definitely my favourite of this branch of Mind Maze as the game still plays well even though itโ€™s quite old now.

Puzzles in Prague!

My third escape room, and first one abroad. Note that I played this room a couple of years ago.

Story

A quest to explore a secret chamber to find the Philosopher's Stone. Perhaps easier said than done!

Puzzles

There was a very good mix, and a lot of them were practical which we enjoyed. Many were tricky and so we required a hint or two (via walkie-talkie) for those ones.

Mise-en-scรจne

A beguiling, rustic and ever so slightly eerie room that required a sharp eye (or preferably more). Everything from the furniture to the floor to the walls felt convincingly authentic.

Final Comments

This one is ideal for two to four people: any more and you'd be probably be fighting to do the same tasks. We retrieved the Stone and got out with a bit of time to spare. An enchanting overseas challenge!

Reviews by escape room review sites

I have a soft spot for this one since it was the first time we completed a room to find that we'd beaten the record. On the other hand, that meant we rattled through in just over twenty minutes and so got less puzzle time than expected!

Lovely decor and decent puzzles; while experienced teams are unlikely to find it difficult, I don't think it's overly simple - we were just in the zone.

A review of some fun but not amazingly challenging games from Prague across two venues, DoorZ and MindMaze. Consistently pretty sets but lacking in depth.
