Our very first escape room ever. Theme and decor were really well done. As it was our first we didn’t know what to expect and we felt there were a lot of locks and puzzles to solve. Great starting room though but would say that this is one of the harder 3 star rooms at Breakout.

Our crew of 5 players attempted the Shipwrecked room early March 2016. We had already done 3 rooms at the time, so we knew what to expect of the experience. But Shipwrecked is properly unique and the theme is well respected. Very piraty! The music, the settings, the lights and even the smell somehow made you feel like a proper matey. Not only the settings but also the clues are all pirate/ship related and they all make sense, not a single clue was far-fetched, you could get the answers with a bit of thinking. We managed to escape with three minutes spare and were ready to complete dozens and dozens of future escape rooms. 🙂

In Shipwrecked you're seeking pirate gold on a haunted shipwreck. Although theoretically haunted, fortunately the captain's ghost has generously decided to leave you alone for an hour before returning to drag you screaming to the bottom of the ocean, so all you need worry about are all the locks and puzzles standing between you and your prize.

I've remarked elsewhere that pirate themed games seem to have reliably impressive decor. That's true here too... up to a point. If you have nothing to co...

A short review for a short game. We crashed through this room in record time finding the exit after less than quarter of an hour. Along the way there were fun puzzles and good theming but in the end, it's hard to overlook the brevity of the experience.

Our First successful escape, many many years ago!
