Your friend Sarah Jones has been looking into a way of making quick money and decided to take part in an experiment for a new drug at Dr Greuber's clinic. Since Sarah left you haven't heard from her so have decided to head over to the clinic to check that everything is OK. Upon entering, it's very clear that Dr Greuber doesn't run a normal clinic! He doesn't appreciate unwanted visitors and is said to have laid traps around his workplace to gas potential victims if they aren't clever and brave enough to escape within 60 minutes!!! Very scary and immersive! Not too tricky although the GM did tell us we'd had little trouble considering how scared we were. Had no real trouble with any puzzles, we just refused to execute solutions once we'd worked them out because we knew something scary would happen once we did

We've done more than our fair share of scare rooms, but this is the one that hit us the most. Very intense, fantastic host, lots of nasty little surprises (in a good way). If you like horror, do this room.
We'd heard the screams all day and soon enough it was our time to see the good doctor. We had a superb pre-game brief by Olly (the extent I thought we were about to be hooded and handcuffed, we weren't) but sadly that was the highpoint. The room itself is fine, the main issue was when the GM would come over the PA, their voice is modulated and then when combined with the rooms audio I could barely hear them. We also had a tech fail to the extent the GM gave us the answer as we had solved the problem but the answer wouldn't work. There's a great room here that just didn't work for my team which is a shame.

First, a disclaimer: we played a bowdlerised version of Nerve Klinik, due to a teammate's aversion to jump scares. Since this is a game designed from the ground up to scare its players and keep them nervous of what might happen next, that removed an important part of its design, one thatβll be its biggest draw for those keen on being frightened by their escape rooms.
Your backstory is that, in search of a missing friend, you've entered the dark and creepy clinic of a murderous doctor. That's a ...
A scary game that packs in plenty of puzzles AND with GMs that are quite willing to terrorise you. If you're easily scared, avoid like the plague but otherwise this is a fun experience where you can test yourself mentally in more ways than one.
If being terrorised isnβt your cup of tea, then Nerve Klinik is probably one to avoid. However, if youβre a fan of scare attractions and puzzles, then step right up - the doctor will see you now.
