There were lots of puzzles and things to do for all of us. Overall a good game however not one of their best games. There was a dodgy directional lock which the host had to come in and do, the final puzzle went on for about 6-7 mins which kept 2-3 people occupied but the rest of us just stood round waiting, bit anticlimactic for what would have been a solid game. Also lots of history about Halifax which was original however it meant there were lots of information in there which isnโt part of a puzzle. Great hosting.
Great room to celebrate the history of Halifax.
Surprised by this game as I'd not heard much. Liked how it integrated local history into the puzzles and was very original. The puzzles are very good throughout and there's plenty to be getting on with - weren't so sure one of the final puzzles though, which felt a bit timewasting. You can tell it was an older room but overall it still delivers high quality gameplay that is unique and puzzle focussed.

Haligonian is the adjective for a person or thing from Halifax, and this room is a love letter to the town where The Escaporium is based. Thereโs a storyline beyond that, involving searching a collectorโs private museum, but it seems like an excuse to celebrate all things Halifax.
