Welcome to the Mystery Cube!
The Cube is being monitored and protected by us while it is here.
We are a top secret organization that investigates strange and mysterious cubic phenomena throughout space and time. So secret we can’t tell you our name. Because we don’t even have one.
We cannot work alone. We need people with the right skills to help investigate this cube enigma.
We cannot say too much about the interior of the Mystery Cube but you have a good chance of success if you are in a team of curious, observant people who enjoy lateral thinking and problem-solving.
When people enter the Mystery Cube its energy levels start to fluctuate and we can only keep it stable in space and time for one hour at a time. After that we cannot predict what will happen to the Mystery Cube – with you inside. Therefore you have only 60 minutes to complete your challenge inside the Mystery Cube and escape so good teamwork is essential.
Do you have what it takes to join us on this Mission?

fun puzzlessmall spacequite easy

This room had a pretty basic concept in a small space - funnily enough a cube!

The puzzles had variety and there was enough for 4 of us to be doing something most of the time, although they were rather primitive in their nature. This was the first room Gemma had ever done and was a good introduction into the world of escaping, however it wouldn't be a top pick for enthusiasts.

The room was (as is often the case) in a random industrial estate but we found it easily enough. The host was in costume, friendly and fun!

In summary, this room isn't going to blow your mind but fits a decent amount of puzzles into a pretty small cube and will keep you busy.

The Cube is not a large scale or ambitious escape room. It's built around a large number of padlocks and involves a fair bit of searching. There's a goal for the game but no particular theme that links the puzzles. And yet it's a quirkily charming room with rock solid design (even if some of the components are a little on the fragile side) and I defy you to not have fun playing it. If the creative home-made feel doesn't win you over, the hosting will.

Outside the room Wimbledon: a place of tennis, a place of wombles and a place a very, very long way away from North London. I'd been putting off making the trek down to the Mystery Cube for far too long, but finally it was time to put that right. In spite of the distance, a

An oldie, but a goodie! When people ask me what my favourite escape room of all time was, I always say the Mystery Cube. Most people haven’t even heard of it! But why do I name it my top? It’s just got SO MUCH love in it. From the hilarious host, to the creative puzzles, and amusing plot line …. This is it! Escape room owners take notice.

The host really pulls this experience together and makes a good room great. Lots to do with no linearity in a very small space.
