We found this room very immersive with a different take on the pirate theme by sailing to an island. There were more physical puzzles than we expected and we wish we’d come dressed more appropriately. The clue system was unusual but worked well with the English version of the game. I found it a little creepy in parts because I was so immersed in the game!

Just over five years ago I played my first escape room, at Hunt Hunt in London. I played my second with them as well, since at the time no other U.K. venues existed. Although I loved both games at the time, they were primitive by modern standards and would likely get a low-ish score from me now. Their Paris branch operates both those games, but also a couple of the company’s more recent designs - including Pirates, one of their latest.

A beautiful game with moments of theatre, a real sense of journey and a bunch of fun puzzles thrown in. If you're ever in Paris, it should be high up your to-do list.
Si vous aimez les histoires de pirates et la chasse aux trésors, alors vous allez aimer cette salle. On nous demande ici de retrouver le trésor d'un célèbre pirate, mais pour cela nous devons commencer par larguer les amarres. Il ne nous en fallait pas plus pour nous prendre pour les goonies. Lorsque nous entrons dans cette salle, nous avons l'impression en fait d'entrer dans une vraie cabine de bateau pirate. Du moins comme on se l'imagine, grâce aux films....
