We had a blast playing this game back in the day - A very out there theme, but it seemed to work!
A strangely themed room - But everyone in the team laughed and enjoyed it.
We had an amazing time at the Dream in Lucardo Manchester. The room seems classic at first but some revelations along the way are surprising and really exciting. One puzzle can be seen from the very beginning and our focus was set on it for far too long without realising that we were missing something to make it work. We particularly liked the way our game master made us enter the room to keep us immersed. Recommended!
Speedy Sleepy Sleuthing
I slipped in a visit to The Dream as, because it was closing, a 20% discount code was being offered.
Story
Get out of your dream with four winning lottery numbers before they're gone forever. And there was something about everything not being as it seems. Weird, but not in a bad way!
Puzzles
There was so much to do with just a team of two. A few we nailed with ease, but others took a lot more thinking (and the odd hint). I was grateful for my friend getting her head around the last one, because I struggled. A lot of visual-based puzzles in this room.
Mise-en-scène

Final Comments
The most stressful escape for me, ever! When I jumped out of the room, I accidentally left my friend behind in The Dream...whoops.

Our second room at Lucardo was set in the subconscious, in a dream that in sixty minutes will turn into a nightmare. Exactly why we were there or why time was limited I'm not sure, but it's a great theme for a surreal set and unusual ideas, both of which were in evidence here. The implementation is along the lines of a child's playroom full of games, not so much the usual teddy bears and building blocks as playing cards and sports equipment.
The room lighting on entry was set up to make the roo...
