Don’t want to spoil too much. Go in under the guise of receiving a massage and things turn from there. Many stand out moments and firsts for our group in an escape room. Loved the GM. Worth the trek to play for sure!

It’s rare to see an escape room with a truly unique theme, but there’s no question that Tao qualifies. Both the venue frontage and the website (at least, the Spanish and Catalan versions) simulate a massage parlour well enough that they apparently get regular enquiries from people looking for massage not escape games.

If there’s one thing you should take from this review, it’s the following: kimonos are freaking comfortable. Seriously. I can’t enjoy jeans anymore. Heiner had reached the his 1000th escape room, and to celebrate, we took him go a Japanese massage center.

We were welcomed at the door, switched to kimonos (see first sentence), and our relaxing experience begun.
I can’t say too much about the experience, but I will say that it is one of the happiest rooms I’ve played. I’ve smiled from the first second to the last, laughed a lot, and really enjoyed it all.
