Geweld, drugsgebruik, drugshandel, ontsnappingspogingen en meerdere moorden, geen dag is hetzelfde in de Cruz gevangenissen. Ook de verandering in het beleid heeft niet tot een uitkomst gezorgd. Dit zijn de redenen waarom de Cruz gevangenissen al langere tijd zijn gesloten. Dit heeft de gevangenissen niet veel goed gedaan. Een vervallen en verlaten plek die ooit de thuis was voor vele gedetineerde.

Helaas lopen de criminaliteitscijfers extreem op en zijn er in de huidige gevangenissen geen plaatsen meer vrij. Hierdoor is één locatie van de Cruz gevangenissen weer geopend. Voor een aantal gedetineerde is er een speciaal plekje gecreëerd in het grillige Cruz la Muerte. Na een aantal updates in beleid, beveiliging en systemen zijn zij weer draaiende, maar erg plezierig is het er absoluut niet. 

Welkom in Cruz la Muerte. 
Waar ze geprobeerd hebben het verleden uit te wissen, waar isoleren het nieuwe normaal is en waar ontsnappen onmogelijk is. Overleven is dus het enige dat telt.

I do like a good prison game and I was in luck as I really enjoyed this one.  It features a split start across two cells but with one of the best beginnings for this style of game I think I've seen.  Puzzles are mostly straight forward and the sign posting is relatively on point with what you have to do at each stage.  There's a great sense of escapism(!) here which really adds to the overall effect.  There are also some clever observational puzzles which you may need to remember for later in the game...  Recommended if you like prison games!

This game did have some very clever moments. But it also had elements that took too long, or had too many compoents that made it frustrating. 
Counting puzzles where surrounded by games of outstanding quality are very disappointing.

This game makes me doubt so many 5*s I have given in the past. Beautiful setting, really immersive and elements I've never seen before. Superb game start to finish.

I would never have guessed from the name that Here I Am is a prison escape theme. But then I wouldn’t have guessed that their previous room Bella Ciao was a robbery theme. In both cases the game is inspired by a television drama which I hadn’t seen at time of playing, and many details and references were lost on me as a result.
