Cluequest are clearly a professional outfit and whilst the initial welcome might be a bit rushed, the staff clearly try to take care of you once you get going. Blacksheep is the second of their 3 rooms. It was a marked improvement on their first in terms of theme and storyline, with a real sense of link between what I was doing and the end objective. The puzzles were nicely varied and there were a couple I hadn’t seen before that were very fun. The room however loses some marks for poor workmanship (we had two separate puzzles break). I would also suggest they “proof” one of the puzzles against accidental reset as we were effectively locked out for a significant amount of time when we hit the wrong button (and it didn’t flag this to us).
Overall, a very enjoyable experience and well worth doing.
I also had a reset mistake when we played this room, where the final lock had been left open (on a separate occasion to Sam’s experience). But we just pushed it shut and solved the puzzle anyway, and as far as I’m aware it’s not a common problem with Cluequest – we seem to have just been unlucky.
Other than that, similar comments apply as for PLAN52, with this room being a little more advanced, both in its technology and its difficulty.
