Sergeant Annabelle Watkins has been murdered. The evidence all points to one of her fellow police officers being responsible — the cause of much embarrassment for Chief Superintendent Baxter.
Stuck at home with a broken leg, Sherlock Holmes must rely on just a few case files to solve the crime. But in the midst of a department cover up, getting the information he needs is not going to be straightforward.
Can you help Sherlock solve puzzles and uncover the clues to find the culprit?

The Case of the Poisoned Police Officer is an online puzzle hunt consisting of 10 puzzles which each give clues to a final logic meta-puzzle. I found them to be an excellent and diverse mix of puzzles. We tackled them as a team of 3 and it took us about 3.5 h, so it could be done in one or two evenings. There were some really innovative puzzles that required us to use everyday online tools in a fun way. The final logic puzzle is quite difficult and requires some perseverence; especially after your brain is partially melted from the previous 10! So I would recommend leaving the meta puzzle for a separate session.

This is an excellent well written play at home puzzle hunt. The puzzles are interesting and fun and would highly recommend it to any keen puzzlers.
We have quite an experienced group and it took as 3.5 hours (taking hints on 1 puzzle and in 1 sitting - though doesn't have to be done all at once). I would say this is much more difficult than your average escape room puzzles - which I think is great given the play at home nature we prefer a challenge (no time pressure). For those less experienced their are hints available.
In this Sherlock Holmes puzzle hunt, a sergeant has been murdered by a fellow police officer and we need to help him solve the puzzles and find the culprit.
