The moon is high in the sky as you secretly sneak to an abandoned excavation site on your journey through South America. The best researchers have been searching here for years for the golden skull of the last Mayan ruler – unsuccessfully. You’re lucky and the archaeologists’ huts are still standing. You open one of the rickety wooden doors and enter the dark hut.
You’re on your own and soon you’ll make an amazing discovery that will change everything – the adventure begins.

We finished our Hamburg escapade with the Golden Skull room after a fantastic three days in the German city. This was our 5th escape room within Hidden in Hamburg, my favourite venue in Hamburg. The way to the boat and to the escape rooms itself is very unique and immersive, specially when you go outside of the opening hours of the museum, very spooky. I cannot thank Felix and Betti enough with helping us fitting as many rooms as possible during our visit, they were very accommodating and welcoming!

The Golden Skull is another fantastic room, specially by its amazing décor and the high amount of space to roam around. It's impressive to see how Hidden in Agenda succeeded in their space management as they prove you don't need a lot of space to deliver a great complete escape room with full of great and clever puzzles.

Unfortunately, half the narration of our game was in German due to an error by the game master, but we did understand more or less what the story was all about. I felt like Lara Croft on an tomb raiding adventure. Absolutely loved it!

Another absolute must-do when over Hamburg. Maybe a bit easy for experienced escapists or a high number of escapists but definitely an absolutely incredible and immersive room for a team of 2/3 members. Don't miss it!

Absolutely loved this game - my favourite of the 3 HIH offerings we played, and hard to pick between these and the Ernie's at Skurrilum. High quality set, busy for the full hour, genuinely immersive and really just a series of delights. A must play if in Hamburg.

A review of the three Hidden in Hamburg games aboard the Captain San Diego. These are some of the best escape rooms I’ve played with amazing sets, great puzzles and a great sense of exploration.

With The Golden Skull, HIDDEN in HAMBURG offers a space for adventurers and archaeologists inside the Cap San Diego. A stringent, immersive adventure is offered with a level of difficulty that ranges from easy to medium.
