Just over a month ago the long lost tomb of Cluetankhamun was unearthed for the first time in over 3 millennia. A team of explorers were sent in to recover the Cluetan Crystal, a jewel believed to possess the power of the Nile. It has been several days since last contact with the exploring party so it’s time to send a new expedition down into the tomb to retrieve the crystal. But watch your step – Who knows what happened to the last exploring party.

The room is mostly for beginners (and we are now quite experimented and managed to easily escaped within 45 minutes with 0 clues, not very challenging). When we visited the room, we were one of the first teams and the room was not yet completed with some puzzles not working yet, the end was not ready at all so it was a disappointing end, but I'm sure the room is now ready as this was in May 2016. Though, the atmosphere of the room is exceptional and our game master followed our pace as we asked her. This room is really good for beginners though, and I would highly recommend is for a first Clue HQ (before doing all the others)! If you've already escaped several other rooms before, I would recommend any other Clue HQ rooms. 🙂

A game of ups and downs. A weak intro got things off to a disappointing start, but then the story progression in the game and the theatrics of the experience brought things back up. If you're a glass-half-full kind of person, then you should have fun but, if you focus on the negatives, there's plenty to frustrate you here.
