This was a cool room with good spacing and nice puzzles. We had a lot of expectations - being huge LOTR fans- and we were not disappointed, but it wasn't the greatest game either. The puzzles are all mechanical, there is little to no thinking involved, which was a bummer, but it is still great fun. The game master was very welcoming and helpful when we needed and the story in the briefing had us very excited but somehow the experience did not live up to it.

It's a cool room to play if you are very into mechanical stuff (and you're good at it), but I think adding some thinking puzzles would make it a truly great one. We took a lot of time trying to solve one particular puzzle and ended up losing close to 15 minutes because of it and it was a bit frustrating.

Overall it's a good experience and it's worth playing, but do not expect it to be easy

This was an ok experience for a group of 3, a bit underwhelming but overall fun. The room is good in terms of decoration and mood but the puzzles are very plain and we've seen most of them in a lot of rooms. They are somehow integrated in the theme (they do look the part) but the mechanism behind each puzzle is quite plain and expected. 

We particularly noted the game master's lack of interest and enthusiasm (didn't ask for feedback, took some time to give us the one hint we asked for and generally seemed bored). 

One thing did not work properly but they told us the team before had forced it so it's understandable.

It's not a bad game and it has some cool things inside, but it could use a bit more creativity.

A really nice HP game with some cool decorations and effects. The game is easy and perfect for beginners and families with children. It has some nice surprises along the way and the puzzles fit the theme very well.

Would've loved a bit more puzzles or some more difficult tasks, but overall it was a nice experience that we'd recommend to all enthusiasts.

Very cool concept for an escape room. It's a trailer placed outside their venue, the game is mostly inside the trailer but also has some puzzles outside. It is probably the most story-driven ER we've played before (you have to solve a murder in Hollywood) and all the puzzles are beautifully and cleverly integrated, some quite surprising.

It's a very difficult game that I think could easily be extended to 75 minutes instead of 60 but they did let us finish it, as we were quite close to finding the solution.

The creativity of the game really stands out here. The puzzles, decorations and effects are perfect for the story and we completely forgot we were in a game. Would love to see similar games in the UK too

Second room we played from Codex and the best one in our opinion. The space is not very big but it's full of surprises and the atmosphere is awesome and creepy and perfect for the story.

Loved the special effects, loved the puzzles, loved the unexpected twists and the ending. And there is one part in the room that was purely brilliant and we haven't seen anywhere else before. It's not an easy room, I think it works best for advanced players, but it is unmissable

Had a blast! We played the non-actor version (they told us the live performance is not available anymore) but the game was really fun.

Loved the fact that the puzzles were not only integrated in the story, but they were actually steps in the story themselves. Each puzzle had us doing something that brought us closer to our final goal (to steal the gangsters money and booze) and everything made a lot of sense in a prohibition bar from the 20s. Fun, clever, well designed and great atmosphere. The game master was very nice and added to the 'true feeling' of the game.
