I have played chest games in other locations before and it was just a chest in an empty room, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered and they had clearly put a lot of thought into the how the room looked! Made for a very immersive experience.
My first ever "semi-portable" escape room and I would 100% recommend it.
I've seen other places offer this type of thing but from photos, it tends just to be set up in a back room and usually charged at the same price of their standard rooms.
But with this pirate one, they went all out. Fully decorating a room to look like the inside of a pirate ship.
I was skeptical they'd be enough content for a 60-minute game but we took just shy of the hour.
