Stepping into Das heilige Grab felt like traveling back in time to a historical setting. The flawless craftsmanship and attention to detail in the set design made the environment so realistic, we often forgot we were in an escape room. Every detail, from the architecture to the atmospheric lighting, contributed to the authenticity. Every part of the scenery was meticulously crafted, creating an immersive experience that transported us directly into the heart of Bamberg’s dark past.

The story is rooted in the tragic history of the witch trials and executions (Hexenverbrennung) that occurred in Bamberg during the 17th century. This harrowing theme was masterfully woven into the narrative, drawing us into the chilling tale of Dorothea. Her story was so deeply emotional and powerfully told that we felt a profound connection to her. As the game progressed, we were determined to bring justice to her and uncover the truth. The emotional weight of the narrative made this experience far more than just a game, it felt like stepping into a piece of forgotten history.
