We had an absolutely brilliant host who had us in stitches before the game started! This is a relatively small game but the space is very well used with some clever puzzles and effects. You are here to find the antidote to a poison before a young girl dies after being injected by the eponymous Caretaker. The signposting of the puzzles was good but some of the low light defeated us at times and we were nudged a couple of times to refocus but I enjoyed this game a lot. Puzzles are a good mix and there is some clever ideas going on here.

Breakout have an interesting location at the top of The Machinist, a historic building that used to be a naval academy. Our game was built in a converted attic space, with old floorboards and ominous nooks and crannies that immediately gave the experience a quality of atmosphere thatβs difficult to achieve in standard commercial premises.
