Really good game, with some wow moments, enjoyable puzzles and a lovely host. The set looks fantastic and we had a blast. (no pun intended)
I did really enjoy this room - and the first part brought back a lot of nostalgia for the 1980s, with some of the props/puzzles being ones I had owned myself when younger
The game itself is very linear, and I think probably would have been better with less people (2-3 I think would work fantastically with the room)
My only, slight, criticism is with the first puzzle (which you need to move on - despite us finding the instructions for the second you need an item locked away to complete that puzzle) is it required a sound instruction, which appeared when you pressed an item, because of the background music (again fab 80s music) I had pressed the item thinking it was needed but couldn't hear it - so when the GM gave a hint (to say I had been right) it took several presses with the item against an ear to hear what was said - maybe the item needs new batteries, or the background music could be lowered
This is one of my favourite rooms Iβve played. The room is beautifully designed and the puzzles worked so well and we found it flowed so well. Was so impressed with this room!
This is a fantastic game that we all thoroughly enjoyed. I can't really explain what was so great about it otherwise I would spoil it but I have to say - please go play!!!

Astro Quest is the rebirth of Press Start - and it works. The puzzles were much more enjoyable, the story made more sense, and the set dressing was good. It feels like this game now has something for everyone and itβs sure to be a much more enjoyable experience (once one puzzle is tweaked).
We thoroughly enjoyed Astro Quest. The team at Escape Rooms Cardiff have clearly listened to the players and have worked to create a room that is of the same consistent quality as their other games. The tech-heavy portion of the game might not be for everyone, but I think most teams will get a kick out of playing it.
