Sicily. On a warm summer evening you are strolling through the streets of Palermo, when suddenly a black van with squealing tires stops in front of you and you are pulled into the car. Before you know what’s happening to you, you’re being held in a secret hideout of a nationally known gangster gang. Although you don’t speak a word of Italian, you’re sure of one thing: there’s been a mix-up here.
As midnight strikes, your captors decide to leave you alone and go to a nearby pizzeria. This is your chance! You now have 60 minutes to escape from the secret hiding place.

The puzzles are largely observational with very little logic. Unfortunately this isn’t mitigated by a good set. Not my kind of room.
Definitely enjoyed this one, was a little trickier than the other one we'd done here and each time I thought we'd got out we were in another room, so I was kind of expected another room when we actually did escape
Each puzzle fitted with the theme which was good
Puzzles were clean and fair with a bit of innovation. Everything else was average.

Mafia is AdventureRooms’ best room without a shadow of a doubt. It’s got a good mix of diverse and challenging puzzles, used in ways I’ve not seen before. It’s attention to set design is the highest quality of their three rooms, which only adds to the immersion once that door is locked.
I’d recommend Mafia to anyone who wants something a little different with their puzzle flavour. If you’re tired of seeing the same old, same old, then give this room a whirl.
