We all really enjoy this game. It felt different to others we have done. We played over 2 devices in 2 locations and it worked well. Good fun and involved puzzle solving and some nice hunting for solutions.
Really enjoyed this game. As well as some puzzle solving there was what felt like real detective work needed. Fun character leading you through meant we always knew why were completing each puzzle. Took us 2 hours but we never got bored or overly frustrated.
I thoughly enjoyed the free teezer game so I came back for more as soon as the game went live. and it didn't dissapoint,
The fact I had played Mr Tippleys: Academy of Mystery Hunters was great as I knew the way the game worked but even though it is a continuation of the story, it is a totally self contained unit.
We played as 2 households on 3 pc's and we loved the way we could when a puzzle was completed you all move forward as a team. (we also ran a video link between the houses so we could verbally comunicate too).
A great use of puzzles, covering a large variety of styles, hard enough but not too hard. Well until the last puzzle (and they saved the hardest for last, I hope that not a spoiler) and not only was it hard it apparently had 2 ways to go, luckily while i went off on a totally wrong tangent, the others found the correct answer.
Bring on number 3, I say.
I played this game in during testing and was providing feedback - I reckon it is possible to complete in half the time I took! Some puzzles may have changed as a result of my feedback.
The game hinges around a murder in the Moulin Rouge area of Paris - so remember that for some of the terms in the game (which is English based). The theme works well in the game and does encourage a sense of 'time ticking' towards the end which is good for an online game.
Well worth trying out!
We loved the storyline and the immersive experience. The story flows and it makes sense why you are completing the puzzles. Make sure you take lots of notes and listen carefully. As a team of 3 who have played a handful of online games, we found some of the puzzle quite tricky, but there were others that we absolutely loved. Definitely worth a play. A bigger team might also help.

Moulin Rouge is a digital game set in Paris, where you’re investigating the murder of a young lady. This is a paid game with a guideline time of two hours, but note that there’s a free 15 min game from the company if you want to get a feel for the style before purchasing.
Their games have a connecting premise where you’re agents for a mystery solving agency run by one Mr. Tippley, who is a prominent character in this game - each step has a short animated video, with Tippley discussing your prog...
